The mead's fermentation actually drastically slowed over the last day, and it's starting to look like it's clearing up. Looks like the yeast nutrient and energizer that was added did the trick. 'Course, could just be a stuck fermentation. I'm gonna take a specific gravity reading some time in the next week, and I'll hopefully know for sure.
So it might be ready a lot sooner than expected (could be as early as a month from now!)
I have a decent sized firepit in the back of my yard for bonfires, and a large abundance of firewood, so, my house is a possibility for sitting around the fire and telling stories/bullshitting, and getting moderately intoxicated

we do as well...as a matter of fact, we have a large pile of crap to burn in our back yard from cleaning up the house.
only problem is we'd have to do it while mom and dad aren't home...don't think they'd approve. *shakes fist* damn!
