I think that the goverment should not be able to take away rights of the people during a war because then that would lead to a communisim or a dictatership

explain why that's a bad thing?
could it be your reason for not wanting such a government is entirely self-centered? you know that you would not be able to be part of sucha government, and so would become one of the masses. is that such a horrible thing? could it be that a fascist or socialist dictatorship would be more able to respond emergencies(less red tape?) and would be better able to judge what is best for the nation(as opposed to how best to line your pockets? in a dictatorship, the dictator strives...not to gain money, though that's part of it, it's more complex...the ultimate goal of a dictator is to establish a dynasty. and what does a dynasty do? it lasts through time, maintaining the givernment and society for the next ruler to step up)
...just a thought, why does everyone seem to think democracy is THE way to go?
...we are, however, promised rights, and they should be upheld by our government, unless we're going to change our constitution to say "we declare these rights self-evident, except for when we decide that they can be limited, then we'll limit them to our heart's content"
...hurray.

i do agree but the thing that about dictators is that they become corrupted by the absolute power they hold yes there would be less red tape but the reason i don't think that are rights should be taken away because that it be a violation of are rights (1-17) as in we were givin the right of free speech and the goverment should not be able to take that away right but i dont see how a dictatorship would be best and i dont know why everyone goes with dimocrace probaly because if the invading contry is democratik they would remake that country in democratik way.
