www.specialopspaintball.com/tactics/index.aspThe higher ups have seen this, and feel everyone on the team needs to see it as well It is a rather well done set of flash animations showing various beginner and intermediate individual, squad, and team movement tactics. *everyone* should take the time to watch it play out. It would also be a good idea to go through the rest of the site afterwards, as they have extensive guides on other paintball topics. Also, another good idea, is to sign up at at the site www.specialopspaintball.com/brigade/signup.asp, join the special ops brigade. they have lots of nice features, and a good forum community, and THEY GIVE YOU FREE GEAR FOR JOINING. :-D that oughtta get your attention....:-P if you do decide to join the brigade, help out your buddy shane, and use this member number as a recruiter when you sign up: 36358 That'l help me get some more gear, points, and even paint. seriously though, it is probably hands down the best woodsball paintball site out there. read the tactics guide, and sign up!

what does signing up get you, besides "free gear"? mail-letter? spam? viruses? random paintball squads showing up at your house to slaughter you?

they have a good privacy policy, won't sell any personal information. they say that they might send you offers, but in the month I've been on, I haven't seen any. As far as spam goes, none. okay, scratch that,I did get notification that someone else had posted a game that was happening about 20 miles from my house. (did i mention the games locator? damn cool if ya ask me). they really do seem to be reputable, and they have quite a few members (30k-ish)
I was as skeptical as you at first, perhaps more so. but it seems like a good idea, and they have a good forum community as well

Not just about, everyone on the team NEEDS to watch it, its only like 20 min or so. by far the best woodsball site EVER! everyone should sign up. we should also start posting our games in the locator. I'll even do it from here since I have a bit more free time than most of the other higher-ups.

posting games in the locator I've mentioned to trevor. I think it's a great idea, but it does leave us to fix some logistics issues. Parking, food, water, etc. I guess we can make sure people bring the little stuff themselves, but, we gotta find a spot to park cars but yeah, I wouldn't mind some fresh meat <grin>

I have talked to trevor about talking to local shops with mobile facilities about comeing out for the larger games. Granted this would take permission from the owner, but I firmly believe a shop would come out either for a set rate, or by the fill and/or purchase, I mean we had like a hundred people last time. I have checked with the shops in my area and it is a little expensive, but they deal mostly with military units with government cheese so they can overcharge. Even if we charged like a small cover fee, having air, paint, and mabye even equipment rental out there would make things even easier and more fluid.

the problem with charging them a cover fee, is that we then become more liable, which can definately be a problem...

I haven't put any prior games into the tracker, however, I did enter saturday's game into the system. I'm still debating whether or not to enter prior games in, so far, I'm leaning towards no. I believe Trevor said he's entering all the games he can think of in there.

well, it's funny, cuz just after i asked i realized i couldn't really remember any prior games and it wouldn't really be fair.
